A Better Chance Bash 2025
April 4, 2025A Conversation
with Tara Bucci
We had a chance to catch up with volunteer Tara Bucci to hear how she became involved with Radnor ABC and why she is committed to fostering diversity and access in our community.

What made you want to get involved and volunteer?
After moving to Radnor, I read a feature on the ABC program in a local magazine, which prompted me to reflect on my own childhood experiences. The program’s mission to expand access to quality education deeply resonated with me. I also believe that fostering diversity within leadership structures is essential for societal progress, and I wanted to contribute to that effort.
How long have you been involved with the Radnor A Better Chance program?
My husband and I have been supporters of the Radnor ABC program since 2016. As my five children have grown and become more independent, I’ve had the opportunity to take on a more hands-on role in recent years.
What has the ABC Program taught you taught you that you value the most?
I deeply admire the collaborative spirit that defines this organization. From the students and resident directors to the tutors, volunteers, and board members, every role - no matter how big or small - plays a meaningful part in creating lasting impact. The collective dedication and partnership within the ABC community is truly inspiring.
