The Sunday Dinner Program provides meals on Sundays when the ABC kids aren’t with their host families. Providing a Sunday dinner offers a great opportunity for the community to get involved with the program while providing substantial savings to the grocery budget. There are 17 people living at the ABC house this year: 10 RHS ABC students, 2 Resident Directors and their 3 young children, and 3 Resident Tutors. However on Sunday dinners there will be 15 present.
Dinner usually includes an entree, side dish, a salad, and possibly dessert. If you are interested in providing a Sunday dinner, please choose a date and list in the comment section what you plan to make or order. Homemade meals and take out/delivery orders are equally appreciated. Dinner is served by 6:00 as the students start study hall at 7:00pm. Dinner can be dropped off anytime between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
Entree suggestions: Make-Your-Own Taco/Burrito Bar; Chicken Sandwiches; Shrimp Alfredo or any other pasta dishes; Chicken Tenders & Fries; Stir-Fry; Fish with Rice & Beans; Breakfast for Dinner; Chicken, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy; Kebobs (Chicken or Shrimp); Beef/Chicken with Broccoli; Buffalo Wings and Caesar Salad; Chinese Food.
Please, no soups or chili.
We have also included a request for lunch on the two no-school days this fall.
