LETTER FROM
Board President Sarah Green

Board President Sarah GreenFor more than 50 years, Radnor A Better Chance has been transforming lives, founded on a simple but powerful principle: that access to a high-quality education can change the course of a young person’s life. Our scholars come to us with ambition, resilience, and the drive to succeed. In return, we provide them with the academic, social, and leadership experiences that will shape their futures.

Yet, we are at a pivotal moment. Across the country, shifts in policy and funding are making it increasingly difficult for young people like our scholars to access the kinds of educational opportunities that lead to long-term success. Programs like Radnor ABC, which have long served as a bridge to a better future, are more essential now than ever.

Our scholars continue to meet and exceed high expectations—excelling in rigorous coursework, competing in national academic and leadership programs, and stepping into roles that prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow. But the support they need to thrive has never been more critical. Expanding educational resources, maintaining a safe and nurturing home, and ensuring access to enrichment opportunities require ongoing commitment.

Your support ensures that our scholars receive the tools, mentorship, and experiences they need to pursue their aspirations—unhindered by circumstances beyond their control.

Please join us in this vital work by making a contribution today. Together, we can reaffirm our commitment to equity, excellence, and the limitless potential of these truly impressive scholars.

With gratitude,

Sarah Green signature

Full House

Radnor ABC was delighted to have welcomed three incredible scholars to the ABC House this past Fall! Vanity from Washington, D.C. and Amir and Michael from Philadelphia have already become key members of our community, bringing their energy, talents, and enthusiasm to the house. We are so proud to have them as part of the Radnor ABC family!

In addition to our wonderful scholars, we’re excited to share that we are now a full house! We extend a warm welcome to Ro, our newest female Resident Tutor, whose support and mentorship has already become invaluable to our scholars.

Board & Leadership Transitions

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Mike Blumberg for his outstanding leadership and dedication as Board President over the past two years. His commitment to Radnor ABC has been instrumental in the success of the program, and we are incredibly thankful for his service. Stepping into the role, we are thrilled to welcome Sarah Green. We look forward to seeing the program continue to grow and strengthen under her guidance and vision. Rounding out the Board’s Executive Committee are two new members: Caroline Stueck and Michael Homans. They join Vince Boyd, who continues to serve as our Treasurer. We are also excited to introduce Kristen Cook as our new Assistant Program Manager! Though she has been with us only briefly, Kristen has already made a meaningful impact, and we are so grateful for her contributions. Here’s to an exciting year ahead for Radnor ABC!
