Find out what the scholars have been up to!
In January, scholars and staff kicked off the year with a group outing to Nifty Fifties, enjoying milkshakes, custom sodas, and a lively game of Den of Thieves, a strategic social deduction game.
Kirstyn was among 21 Radnor students who participated in the Harvard Model Congress this February, immersing herself in one of the nation’s most prestigious congressional simulations for high school students. Meanwhile, Luci, Kirstyn, and Bradley earned spots to compete in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) state competition in Hershey, PA coming up in April.
As a senior, Addy played a key role in the Radnor Girls Crew Club, both as a dedicated team member and by managing college recruitment for her teammates. Reflecting on her experience, she shared, “It has made me grateful to be a part of such a loving collective.”
Ryan, a sophomore, made a strong comeback after recovering from a torn ACL, securing his place as a cornerback and wide receiver for the JV and Varsity football teams. Over the winter, he brought his skills to the JV and Varsity basketball teams. Meanwhile, Malachai and Naima recently returned from a cheer competition at Disney, demonstrating their talent and dedication on a national stage.
On the stage, Luci conveyed courtroom drama with a sassy attitude as the judge in Radnor High School’s production of Legally Blonde: The Musical, calling it “THE BEST PART OF MY YEAR!”
Looking ahead, the scholars will travel to Washington, D.C. in March to tour the city, visit museums and colleges, and experience the Cherry Blossom Festival. From the classroom to the stage, from the field to national competitions, Radnor ABC scholars continue to distinguish themselves through talent, dedication, and ambition.
